Report Content
Last updated: May 2026
We rely on user reports to keep TakeYourSide safe and editorially sound. If you encounter content that you believe violates our policies, let us know so it can be reviewed according to our policies.
What you can report
You can report a case, comment, reaction, or profile that is:
- Inaccurate or materially misleading.
- Unsafe or that could cause harm.
- Unlawful, unsafe, or that facilitates illegal activity.
- Privacy-invasive, including doxxing or unauthorized publication of personal data.
- Defamatory: an accusation of serious wrongdoing presented as fact without sourcing.
- Hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative.
- Otherwise in breach of our Content Policy or Moderation Policy.
How to report
A dedicated in-product reporting flow is being implemented. Until it is available, please contact us via the contact page and include:
- The URL of the case, comment, or profile in question.
- A brief description of the problem and which policy you believe applies.
- (Optional) any context that helps reviewers understand the issue.
How reports are reviewed
Reports are evaluated through our moderation process according to our Moderation Policy. Outcomes can range from no action (if the content complies with policy) to removal and, in serious cases, account restrictions.
Good-faith use
Submit reports in good faith. Coordinated or abusive use of the reporting flow (for example, mass-reporting opposing views) is itself a policy violation and may lead to account restrictions.
